The PCHP thanks Jennie Lopes and the students of her Portuguese class at the Archbishop Romero Secondary School for hosting our public history exhibit “The Portuguese in Toronto, 1953-2013”.
Month: June 2013
Congratulations Dundas West Fest! Thanks for inviting us.
A big thank you to Hélder Ramos for inviting us to be a part of the very successful first edition of the Dundas West Fest, and to Marco Figueiredo of BPI Toronto for sponsoring our site. The festival had a great turnout and we were happy to have lots of people look at our photos, ask us questions about the history of the community, and take our exhibit catalogs home for further reading.
We wish the organizers of the Dundas West Fest much success and hope to see this event flourish in the future.
